The room faced a busy road, leading to noticeable traffic noise, especially for light sleepers like me who prefers some fresh air at night. Drawer space was lacking, making it tricky to fully unpack. a simple addition could enhance the stay significantly. having breakfast hours extend to 11 AM on weekends would cater to those wanting a lazy morning a bit more.

The room was cozy and the breakfast spread was fantastic, especially the Scottish mussels I had for dinner! I loved relaxing on the sun terrace and enjoying the garden area in the afternoons. The lighting in the bathroom was a bit tricky for makeup, but that's a small thing when everything else was so great! 😊

would absolutely stay here again
The room was super spacious with a big comfy bed. We loved the private bathroom with a full-size bath and plenty of free toiletries. Breakfast was a highlight with freshly cooked local sausage and perfectly scrambled eggs. The outdoor dining area was a nice touch, too, with lovely views of the gardens.

The Deluxe Double Room felt cramped, a small double bed and an oversized chair made it tight. The room was hot, and opening the window let in noise from outside. the building had beautiful decor, recently updated and maintained. The cooked breakfast was fabulous and the bed was comfortable. The garden looked inviting for future visits. Staff were pleasant and really helpful. The location was excellent, just a 20-minute drive into Harrogate.

missingWrote a review on 11 Juntraffic noise
The location is right on the busy A61, which results in considerable noise from traffic, especially at night. the two standard dining chairs in the room felt less comfortable compared to an easy chair, which is what I'd expect in a quality room. A communication error regarding room occupancy caused some frustration.

Lovely room, lovely staff, with a big bed and children's fold out beds. Free Wi-Fi made our stay convenient and enjoyable for our family with children.
Nothing, it was perfect.

Family with children should definitely stay here
We had a lovely setup with a spacious room, and the kids were thrilled with the Easter eggs they got from the staff. The little balcony overlooking the alpacas was simply perfect for unwinding after a long day.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but still acceptable for what we got.

pleasant stay but slightly overpriced dining
The lodge room setup was lovely for our family of four, with comfortable beds and great amenities. The staff were friendly, even surprising the kids with Easter eggs, which made the experience personal and warm.
Dining prices felt a bit steep compared to expectations.

we had a great time staying here. the double bedroom was beautiful and really comfy, we slept like babies. the food was good both evenings, especially enjoyed breakfast. the staff were super friendly and made our anniversary feel special. would totally stay here again!
the bathroom could use a bit more toiletries for a 2 night stay, and it would be nice to have some comfy seating in the room instead of just the bed.
